Frameproof ("we", "our", "us") is an app for analysing articles for bias and manipulation. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the Frameproof app.

Data we collect

• Email address — collected when you create an account, used for authentication
• Photos/images — only when you choose to submit an image for analysis; processed to generate analysis results and not stored
• Article URLs and content — submitted by you for analysis; processed to generate results and not stored beyond the analysis
• Usage data — we track how many analyses you have performed to enforce daily limits

How we use your data

• To provide the Frameproof analysis service
• To manage your account and subscription status
• To enforce usage limits on the free tier

Third parties

• Firebase (Google) — used for authentication and storing account data
• Anthropic — article text and images are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis
• RevenueCat — used to manage in-app subscriptions
• Apple / Google — payment processing for Pro subscriptions

Data retention

Your account data is retained until you request deletion. Analysis content is not stored after results are returned.

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time. See our account deletion page for instructions.
